就以我的经历说吧，今收到一个老师的回信，我很晚了才陶瓷，1.10号，然后他今天回，估计一直没上班，但是信件内容是：

　　Hi, Thank you for your interest. The application process is rolling for the department, but the deadline for full consideration for the fall 2012 term has passed. I usually only select one very good master's level student per year

　　感觉真的好不是滋味，觉得自己准备这么久，结果申请学校的时候基本都是踩DEADLINE提交，提交后也没积极陶瓷。所有陶瓷都是1月10多号开始的。
